The first thing to remember is that even though sunlight feels so good, it
is a carcinogen. Skin cancer, with more than 1 million cases diagnosed
annually is on the rise.
Ultraviolet (UV) (A & B) rays from the sun trigger DNA mutations in skin
cells, destroy elastic fibers, cause sagging and wrinkling and suppresses
the skin's immune system. Skin cells are adept at repairing themselves, but
when they fail, mutant cells multiply into cancer.
Recent studies have are showing that UVA is a major contributor
